Your cheap comm unit crackles to life, spitting out a coded message – a distress call from an old contact. It's a name you haven't heard in years: Valerie Thorne.Valerie was a brilliant engineer, a real whiz with cybernetics before she vanished off the grid. Now, she's resurfaced, whispering about conspiracies, advanced tech, and a shadowy organization known only as 'The Syndicate.' The message is garbled, frantic, and ends with a chilling warning: "They know. They're coming for me... and anyone who helps me."Ignoring it would be the smart thing to do.
